We recently conducted a webinar on October 15, 2018, that showed how the latest Proarc product release can help companies digitalize technical engineering documentation processes and streamline collaboration between project members.
Proarc customers can benefit from newly released capabilities for the control of technical documents. Enhancements cover the review and approval process, collaboration with vendors and clients, and the mobile functionality for field workers.
For those unfamiliar with the term EDMS, the DMS in question, according to Wikipedia, is defined as Document Management Software or System.
It is 2018, yet the age-old challenge of addressing the control and management of Engineering Documents persists. In many industries, ranging from new construction capital projects to revamping of existing facilities, documents are being created to enable safe asset operations. However, it can be tricky trying to control the document management system on your own when multiple people and jobs are involved.
Since joining the Vela family of Software companies, our newly formed business has been undergoing a few changes. The most immediate and visible change has been the introduction of our new website, available for your viewing pleasure at www.ProarcEDMS.com, not only will you find product information but we’ve provided a contact form that allows you to reach us 24/7 albeit our response will still be during office hours on Oslo time.
It has been an exciting few months for everyone involved with Proarc, so we are truly excited to update our customers with what is in store for the future of the newly formed company Proenco AS.
It was announced back in Jan. 31, 2018 that Constellation Software Inc. (“Constellation”) (TSX:CSU) and its wholly owned division Vela Operating Group (“Vela”), acquired the Proarc unit of Tieto Oy, a leading software provider of technical document management software to the engineering & construction industry.
